Sector 4 Scenario Date

Postby PATNO on 09 Jan 2010, 15:14

The date for the scenario is once again up in the air.
There were far too many inconsistencies on the poll
between the 3 forums to make a solid date, as well
there was quite the influx of people asking for dates
alternate to the two suggested. It looks as if the scenario
could happen as late as july/august, or as early as the
suggested dates. Kevin (Seibt) will figure out the best date for
the scenario and get back to you guys as soon as possible
I know that most if you (Like me) are just itching for a
solid date and a green light on this scenario.

The scenario WILL happen, just WHEN in that 4 month
period is what Kevin (Seibt) is trying to determine.

Thanks for the patience guys, Do not let this get in the way of your event planning, just
continue on as you normally would and kev will pick a date, then you will be notified ASAP.
Im just a messenger, I nor Albertabushball have ANYTHING at all to do with the planning of
the scenario, Albertabushball is just there as a group of ballers showin up for the big game.
I just help with building field and thats it. With that I cant really say too much else, because I know
about as much as you guys right now. The fastest way to get an answer is to sign up on
albertabushball and PM kev (Seibt) there.

If it doesnt, then I will have filled those fuckin sandbags and
trimmed up those trenches for nothing for nuthin, not like I did
all of the trench walls and sandbags, but I did a damn big portion
of them haha and id be SUPER PISSED if this didnt happen haha.
What a colossal waste that would be eh

I hope we know soon I have to go to Toronto for at least a week in May and had been trying to plan it around this event.

im fairly confident its not going on in may now, it looks more like july/august.
thats just a completely uneducated guess. There are a lot of obstacles in planning
the first event for a field.

I hope for the best, I really do. But i wouldnt raise an eyebrow if he chose to
cancel the event altogether... Keep in mind that his is my own personal
speculations, and they are totally baseless.

July/August seems likely, still a chance of earlier, but I doubt it. Sorry
for the bad news, but judging off of how things are going planning wise
my outlook is bleak, again this is totally baseless.

So plan your events, and dont worry about this one. If it happens and it
does co-operate with your schedule, fantastic. If it doesnt, oh well.
There is always next time.

The alternate weekend I'm looking at is the weekend of August 21, and 22nd. Its late summer I know but that gives us the most time to get the field up to par. Its also 2 days before a full moon making the scheduled night time part of the scenario (yet to be revealed) more practical. This date is also far enough away that if I make it solid there's no reason people can't plan on attending. I'm heading out to sector 4 today and will be planning out in detail what I need to do to the field. The date may be determined by the shear amount of work I have planned.

In the end I realize that accommodating everyone's schedules is next to impossible so giving as much warning as I can seems like the best possible course. I'll make this the solid date if there's no objections.

Unfortunately for me if it is beyond the may long weekend I am out. My planting needs to be done the week of may long and after that I am committed to the farm. After middle of July I have to be back to work too.
