Do you have an Argo in mind? I live out towards Mara Lake and I work in Sicamous with someone who has a camo (like the real tree style) one for sale. Pretty Sure it already has a cab on it. Wouldn't really look like a tank but it would be easy just to make some firing ports.

seen one on castanet for $6000 and it comes with cat treads, also looked at the argo website and there is a roll cage add on you can get that I would like to be able to slide a tank mold over top.

Went online and typed in argo converted into tank and there are some wicked conversions but some look like mini shermans to a tee.
Got some pretty good ideas now.

They can be classified as to fast for fields so you might have to govern it down most have a 5 mph limit. At least for the ones that would allow tanks on them. The driver have to be very tight to the field rules and the crew as well. That and the insurance of the tank is to cover legal costs for damages of the field and injuries of players on the field of play. I've looked into it a bit most tanks that are motorised in the U.S. have to have a $30,000 insurance coverage to be used in Canada it is very unclear if you can get insurance. That and you need field approval and requiremants to use it some fields want a 48 hrs for inspection and testing before it can be used.

Wow thats all good to know.
Not sure id want to go through all the hastle only to use it at my field , its not big enuf there would only be the main path in that would support the tank.

The deal is if you get one put together for field use you can take the top of it off so you can use it as a rec vehicle as intended. You have to get some insurance anyway for it and there is other places for it to be used.
